Comparative Analysis of The Geodemographic Policy of Bulgaria Until 2020

Abstract


In this article an attempt is made to analyze the demographic situation in Bulgaria at the end of 2020. On the basis of public data from the Bulgarian statistics a chronological assessment of the ongoing processes and phenomena within the Bulgarian state has been made. Problems have been identified and demographic policies have been proposed that may have a positive effect on overcoming demographic deficits in Bulgaria. The relevant conclusions and recommendations for imposing a new model of demographic development and imposing new priorities for national development have been made.
